How long have you been with Bridge Help, and what do you do here?
I have been here 2 years and my role is to assess the caseloads put before Bridge Help after analysis by the underwriting team. As Head of Underwriting and Credit, the decision to proceed is taken along with other members of the Senior Leadership Team with the benefit of all available information.

What do you like most about working at Bridge Help?
Collaborating with colleagues to structure a deal to help support our clients.

What’s the most interesting part of your job?
Analysing each proposition when it is presented to determine how we can assist each client.

What’s your favourite memory working at Bridge Help?
As I work remotely, it’s always very good to get together with the rest of the team.

How do you achieve success in your role?
Ensuring that we can shape as many deals as possible to enable a client to obtain the funding they require from Bridge Help.

What advice would you give brokers/borrowers looking to secure short term finance?
Provide the full information base at the very outset to enable us to assess the deal as quickly and effectively as possible.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
Running, walking, reading and a season ticket holder of many years at Rotherham United.

Which three words best describe you?
Authentic, genuine and collaborative.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
Always be honest and tell the truth.

What would we be surprised to discover about you?
That I live in Robin Hood’s Bay.

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
A footballer!
