Name: Katie Snodden

Role: Head of Sales

Katie Snodden joined Bridge Help in February 2021, initially as a Business Development Manager (BDM). Her hard work, strategic mindset, and strong relationship-building skills saw her quickly promoted to Head of Sales in December 2022.

Katie’s job has two main aspects; she continues to manage her caseload as a BDM whilst also leading the sales team. Working with each BDM to ensure they are successful and supported, Katie is central to Bridge Help’s growing success.

“I’m still very much a hands-on BDM, but I also work closely with the sales team to help them develop and deliver. Coaching, motivating, and keeping everyone on track is a key part of my role – and one I am very passionate about.”

What do you like most about working at Bridge Help?

The variety. No two deals are ever the same, and I love the challenge that brings. You’ve got to think on your feet and stay open-minded – it keeps you sharp, and the whole team thrives on that energy. Relationship management has always been something I’ve enjoyed and there is no better feeling than seeing a deal complete.

What makes Bridge Help really special, though, is the people. It’s a company that genuinely values you, both personally and professionally. We’re constantly evolving, and I feel lucky to be part of that journey.

What’s the most interesting part of your job?

I love delving into the details of a deal. I really do enjoy researching and gathering all the information required to present to underwriting – spotting any potential pitfalls and then working with the wider team to find solutions.

I always get a real buzz when you’re up against a tight deadline and it’s all hands-on deck to get a deal over the line in time. That kind of teamwork is so rewarding.

What’s your favourite memory working at Bridge Help?

Definitely being promoted to Head of Sales. I joined the business part-time and I was brand new to the industry, so to be recognised and trusted to take on the role in such a short space of time was a huge moment for me.

How do you achieve success in your role?

It’s about putting the work in and staying consistent – especially when things don’t go your way. You have to be resilient, keep communicating, and always deliver a high level of service.

It’s easy to slow down after a big completion, but you’ve got to stay hungry, keep the pace and momentum going, and stay present with brokers.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?

Downtime and spending time with my family – especially my daughter, Lila, and my youngest, Albie. Being full-time in the office now means that family time is more precious than ever, so it is really important to me make the most of weekends with them.

Which three words best describe you?

Caring. Resilient. Funny.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

“Just keep going, no matter what!”
